Galien, MI Galien, MI Full-time Full-time $85,000 - $100,000 a year $85,000 - $100,000 a year 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago Fello Cannabis is seeking a Director of Cultivation that is responsible for the overall operational responsibility for all day-to-day cultivation activities at the Galien, MI cultivation site.
This includes but is not limited to management of harvest and drying activities.
The Director will provide leadership to the cultivation team and manage all indoor and greenhouse cultivation operations and serve as a liaison to Senior Leadership to keep them aware of operational changes and challenges.
The Director will assist with the development and implementation of Fello's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) ensuring premium quality and consistency in all distributed products.
This includes development of the company Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Program along with the long-term Strain / Genetic Management and Development Program.
This role is critical to ensure consistent delivery of premium wholesale products for customers through key performance indicators such as schedule adherence, quality control, yield optimization, strain availability and diversity while also promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Job Duties will include:
Monitor, manage, and adjust setpoints on BAS and control system programs.
Data tracking and analysis Develop production schedules and monitor results regularly and accurately Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and traceability of plants, including plant counts, both physically and in METRC, and correcting plant inventory discrepancies immediately Maintain a clean, pest and disease-free environment Daily & weekly labor task assignments to Cultivation staff Weekly Cultivation meeting Status update/ report out to Senior Leadership Weekly Tech meetings (Fert, IPM, Prop) to review data inputs and trends and gameplan course of actions to be taken Inventory tracking of consumable grow supplies and ordering of subsequent material needs Creating and displaying flower room loading/informational sheets Maintain genetics and mother program Harvest reports generated each harvest Timecards and PTO approvals Performance reviews (30 day

Leadership Team Agenda and KPI tracking Work cross-functionally with multiple departments including inventory, sales, packaging, compliance, accounting and finance Address and enforce Fello Company policy and work in conjunction with HR and direct supervisors on employee relations matters Other duties as assigned Required Experience, Education and Skills Bachelor's degree in plant sciences and/or agriculture related disciplines preferred 3
years as a cultivator in a large-scale cannabis operation with management responsibilities Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Google Suites Demonstrated project management coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments without direct authority Expert level knowledge of all growing mediums, nutrient regimens, cultivation methodologies, environmental requirements and cultivation techniques Prior experience with METRC preferred Cannabis Industry Experience in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, or Pennsylvania preferred Understanding of cGAP and Commercial agricultural manufacturing environments or experience preferred ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Must be 21 years of age or older to apply Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry Must maintain strict personal hygiene protocols Must follow strict PPE guidelines 5-10% travel potential quarterly (Industry events, provisioning center clients etc.
